A Facebook Profile -

Your profile begins with a quick summary of who you are, giving friends an easy way to see where you live now, where you're working and more. A collection of recently tagged photos also shows what you've been up to lately.

A typical Facebook profile consists of a number of different sections, including Information, Status, Friends, Friends in Other Networks, Photos, Notes, Groups, and The Wall. Most of the sections are self-explanatory but some are specific to Facebook.

Facebook Page -

Pages are for businesses, organizations and brands to share their stories and connect with people. Like timelines, you can customize Pages by adding apps, posting stories, hosting events and more. Engage and grow your audience by posting regularly. People who like your Page will get updates in their news feeds.

You can create and manage a Facebook Page from your personal account. Please note that only the official representative of an organization, business, celebrity or band is permitted to create a Page.

Public Figure -

A public figure, either a public official or any other person pervasively involved in public affairs, or

a limited purpose public figure, meaning those who have "thrust themselves to the forefront of particular public controversies in order to influence the resolution of the issues involved." A "particularized determination" is required to decide whether a person is a limited purpose public figure, which can be variously interpreted.

Company Profile -

Creating a profile for your company on Facebook can help you connect with possible clients and customers, give your company better exposure and relay information to employees and those affiliated with the company. Facebook makes it easy to choose the type of company you have and offer pertinent information so that anyone searching for the company name can get a quick, general snapshot of who you are and what you offer.

Fans Vs likes-

They are simply the same. Before the ?like? button was invented, Facebook had a button that read ?Become a Fan? instead. This was around the start of fan pages. As a result, the term ?fans? have always been used to address people who ?like? a fan page. A ?like? is an action upon a fan page by a Facebook user. Once the Facebook user has ?liked? the page, he or she is now a fan.
